Lots of viruses mutate very very fast. That means that their DNA changes as they grow in an infected person, which makes it really hard to design new vaccines or medicines to cure them. I would like to find a good way to design new drugs that would be able to attack viruses even if they mutate. If I managed to do that, it would potentially provide the cure for viruses like AIDS and Hepatitis C.
Ooh, that’s really hard. In my research, its probably how can we blood vessels interacting with cancer cells? It will be hard, because if we develop drugs for this it may stop your normal cells from talking to blood vessels, which would make you pretty ill.
