Yep…especially wild ones. You get lots of them high up on volcanoes in the tropics. Can be awesome to see.

I love flowers, especially orchids which you see growing wild around the UK. They are less showy than the ones you see in the shops but are just as beautiful. There is one quite rare orchid that grows wild that is called the bee orchid. It looks like a female bumble bee and the males come over to land on it and pollinate the flowers! Here’s a link to a picture of one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ophrys_apifera

I love them, my favourites are sunflowers and daiseys – big happy colourful flowers 🙂

I love flowers! They are simply amazing.. all the varieties and the functions and the shapes and colours.
As Nicola also thinks orchids are one of my favourite. Did you know that the vanilla flavour in icecream comes from the vanilla orchid! If you had the chance you could see them in Kew Gardens.
I have a garden and grow as many native wildflowers as possible. Its great to see the bees in summer 🙂

I LOVE flowers – I’m a bit of a plant nut. Like Nicola, I love british orchids and go a bit mental if I find one. I’ve never seen a bee orchid but I’d love to.
I also love parasitic plants. These are plants that don’t photosynthesis (or not much), but latch onto another plant and nick all of their food and water. A good example is mistletoe, but a weirder one is toothwort.

You can sometimes find it growing in woods – it has no leaves, just flowers.
