Hey Ashwee for volunteering in the UK there are a couple of really good organisations like:

      The Wildlife Trusts http://www.wildlifetrusts.org/
The Whale and dolhin conservation society http://www2.wdcs.org/hych/index.php
      WWF http://www.wwf.org.uk/
      Surfers against Sewage http://www.sas.org.uk/
and the charity I work for the Marine Conservation Society http://www.mcsuk.org/

Just copy and paste the links above into your browser to go to the pages.

The different charities run different kinds of volunteering events, for example we do beach cleans and have volunteers called seachampions who do different things for us like talking to local people and businesses as well as some admin and things. But the wildlife trust might do something different.

If you would like some information of getting involved with turtles drop me an email to info@mcsuk.org and just say in the email it is for Debbie and I will make sure it goes to the right people – we don’t do a lot of hands on turtle work over here but there are lots of projects that you can do in the EU on turtles as well.

      Hope that helps!
