Not in the sense that we would talk about feet, they have tails (obviously) that they use to propel themselves through water but some fish use their front fins (pectoral fins) to walk on land, so I suppose they are a type of foot?

These fish are called mudskippers, they are a type of gobie and they live in and out of the water. They can breathe through their skin and the lining of their mouths as long as they are wet so they have to live in humid areas or in areas that they can get access to water easily. They use their pectoral fins to skip accross mud and other things like seaweed, they are pretty cool.

There was a fish in my geology department, called Leonard the Lungfish : he sort of had little feet things…but I don’t think they were proper feet!! 🙂

Even though I spent 3 years working on zebrafish, I’ve got no idea (although I’m guessing not proper feet). I’ll leave this one to Glyn and Debbie……
