I do really like science. I love the way that if you don’t understand something, you can develop a theory and then test it, or that just by watching something happen – you can learn about it. However, I don’t like all science – only some bits of it interest me. This is good though, as if all scientists liked all bits of science then we would never become a specialist in one thing.

I love science, it explains so much of the world around us but at the same time opens so many more doors and questions to be answered!

I love learning really fun facts so science is a great way to do that – for example did you know that the biggest turtle in the world ever was found washed up in Wales? it was nearly a tonne in weight and has helped us to understand turtle migration patterns.

Yes I do! However the hardest thing in loving science is that there is soooo many different areas in science and not enough time to learn about even a small part of them. While I work in biology I am also really interested in such things as astrophysics just because the universe is so beautiful.
But one good thing about all this is that science is all interlinked in some way so basically studying one area can help other scientists working in other areas. Its great to communicate and share.

I absolutely love science! I think the best bit is the moment when you find out something that nobody else in the world knows. It’s an amazing feeling.

I do! Ever since I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with plants and animals, and things you can see under the microscope.
However, I’m a biologist born and bred, so I’d be lying if I said I liked Physics. Its not something I’m proud of, as it would really help my work if I was good at it. I’ve never even watched a Brian Cox programme!
