I’m scared of all the amazing things on this planet disappearing and us not even noticing them being gone.
The internet is an amazing resource it can take you anywhere in the world show you anything you want to see, but it is nothing compared to going out your front door and having an adventure and experiencing the world yourself.

I’m also really scared of losing a lot of the plants, animals and insects that live on this planet. Mankind is very good at making other animals extinct!
Having a small child, the other thing that scares me is that, by the time she is my age, there won’t be enough food and fuel for everyone on the planet.

I’m most scared that we as humans will just focus on making money, and forget that a happy and fulfilled life is one where you manage to do as your job what you are most interested in.

Just like all the other scientists here I am very scared for the other beautiful creatures and organisms with which we share this planet. They are all very vulnerable to the power that humans have in changing the world. Even mighty beasts like lions and elephants are disappearing at a tremendous rate because some people like to have have tusks on display in their houses to show off or whatever.
Some people are very greedy and dont care about the natural world at all and would prefer if it was covered in concrete, buildings and supermarkets but they forget that everything in their lives relies on the natural world they are trying to get rid of. Trees make oxygen so if they are all cut down that would be disastrous.
Some of the foods we love to eat like potatoes grow in the soil but if the soil is polluted with chemicals and other things then they cant grow and we wouldnt be able to eat chips anymore! that would be terrible!

Like the other scientists, I am scared of how quickly we are changing the environment and the damage this is doing to all of the incredible creatures that share this planet with us. I think we need to be more careful of what we do and the decisions we make as these can have a big impact on our world.
