• Question: What do you do in your spare time?

      I enjoy cycling its good fun and I’ve done a couple of bike rides for charity, there are some great forest tracks where I live. But I’m also a bit of a movie fan so the cinema is a favourite or going to gigs!

      But then there is always spending the day at the beach or going for walks in the hills – I never get tired of that.

      I am lucky as I have quite a lot of spare time at the moment!
      I really enjoy long distance athletics and am currently training for an Ironman competition down in Devon called the Horseman. It will be a race where first I will have to swim for 2.4 miles then bike 112 miles then run a 26.2 mile marathon. Eurgh sounds really grueling.. well it will be but it will also be fun as everyone else will be in a similar situation and we will be supporting each other.
      So entering this race needs lots and lots of training.. I wish it was a little warmer though.

      I also really enjoy photography and often go into the woods near my house to take close up pictures of things like leaves and insects. And I also love wildlife gardening.. and try to help the bees and birds by growing native plants and flowers to give them food and shelter and building hedgehog houses. Its so much fun and very rewarding when spring and summer comes. It makes me really happy 🙂

      I love sports: running, playing football, sailing. I also go to church at the weekends and sometimes play the drums.

      I keep a flock of Jacob sheep. We have just finished lambing and are starting to get the sheep ready to take to shows later in the year.       Mainly run around after my daughter! When I get time, I also like walking, knitting, baking, plant spotting, going to museums and watching TV.
