I love folk rock, Indie, Indie rock, drum and bass, bit of punk rock lots really!

But my favourite bands just now are Frightened Rabbit, Mumford and sons, Biffy Clyro, the Lumineers, Pendulum and I am partial to a bit of the Stone Roses.

A mixture…but I quite like Ed Sheeran! I also tend to like the music of wherever I am doing fieldwork…so at the moment that is Reggae.

Hmmm I kind of changed genres as I was growing up.
When I was a teenager I really liked heavy metal and went to loads of concerts – headbanging like a maniac.
Then I went into a really slow phase listening to trip hop and groups like Portishead.
I really like music where the musicians have important to say about how they feel or what they know about the world. Like Richard Hawley or Lisa Hannigan.
Also electronic music if I feel like dancing :o)

All sorts – pop, indie, soul, folk. Looking through my ipod, my most played albums are by Robyn, Girls Aloud, Kylie, my Motown best of, David Bowie, Marvin Gaye, Feist, Blur, Janelle Monae and The Monkees.
As a teenager, I was a big indie kid – I was obsessed with lots of bands from the 90s like Blur, Oasis, the Stone Roses, the Manic Street Preachers and the Charlatans.
