• Question: what is your favourite place in the world?

      Would have to be on top of a volcano. Doesn’t matter which one. Although…I really really like Guatemala in Central America…I haven’t been anywhere quite like it.

      Kyoto in Japan…it is incredibly beautiful. I’ve been twice and haven’t even seen half of it.

      Gotta be the Skeleton Coast in Namibia. I camped there for a couple of weeks and it was so desolate and barren but inspiring.

      There are lots of places I love but New Orleans in America is one of my favourites – the people are amazing and the whole place has a feel about it that is like no where else in the world! It the only place I’ve been where you’ll be sitting eating breakfast and a jazz band will just set up next you and start playing the most amazing music.

      This is so hard. Can I choose a top three?
      1. Hawaii – I went there a few years ago and it is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been – mountains, coral reefs, really unusual plants!
      2. Snowdonia – I love mountains, the sea and, er, industrial history. The mountain in Snowdonia are beautiful, but i also love the HUGE abandoned slate mines. They’re weirdly beautiful.
      3. Japan. My brother lives there, so I’ve been a couple of times. The food, the mountains, the cities (the amazing trains!), its all brilliant. Such a fascinating place.
