• Question: What is your favourite sea creature?

      My favourite sea creature changes all the time.

      When I was younger I loved orca’s (killer whales) I even had an adopted orca called Holly.

      Then it was sharks they are amazing so different depending on species – from gentle giants like the basking sharks here in the UK to swimming barrels with teeth! I still hold a very special place in my heart for sharks and dream of swimming with Great Whites.

      But then I studied the deep sea nad suddenly all these amazing crazy fish and sea animals came from no where and hardly anyone knows anything about them!

      But then I look to our seas and I think about the poor cod – its never going to be winning any beauty contests but it is so important to the UK and people don’t give it a second thought as they tuck into their fish supper – some cod stocksare nearly dissapearing!

      So many amazing animals so little time – just now at this point in my life I’m going to stand up for the poor cod and say he’s my favourite (though I like haddock too) 🙂
